ATLAS MOUNTAINS
Repetition, continuity, spatiality: Morocco. A project where all these concepts merge with each other portraying space in a way that makes it seem infinite. It is as if by looking at one of the photographs, you can almost anticipate what would be next to it.
A photography project that shows Morocco from a different point of view. We always tend to walk and take for granted everything that we see. Even the most common thing becomes not important to us anymore. That is because our mind is always full of overwhelming visuals. Because of that, we ignore most information we receive.
In this project, I wanted to show that “common thing” we usually do not find interest in. Besides that, I wanted to photograph it in a way that makes you wonder what is left outside of the picture. With that, it makes you stop and analyse this subject you once found not interesting at all.
